What should you wear to an all-day summer music festival?
My number one favorite thing in the whole world is going to a rock concert/festival. Especially if it’s M3 Rock Festival. But finding beauty products that will last through 12+ hours of rocking out to 80’s metal is difficult. It’s hard enough to find products that stay on all day during the summer, but throw in the fact that you’re surrounded by thousands of people, and it’s nearly impossible.

Mini Nail Polish Haul! (Literally)
I got this China Glaze Hunger Games Collection set!! It has Fast Track, Agro, Luxe and Lush, and Smoke and Ashes.
Fast Track is a tan beige with a lot of gold shimmer.
Argo is a deep olive green with gold undertones.
Luxe and Lush is more of a top coat. It’s clear based with big flakes of icy blue, which reflect a metallic rose gold color. So pretty!
Smoke and Ashes is a very deep blue green with shimmer. It looked black at first, but I saw the color when I tilted the bottle.
Then I found these mini Orly polishes for only $3.50 each!
Blue Belle is a light periwinkle blue with a blue pearl finish.
Lemonade is a pastel yellow with a cream finish.

I think that buying mini nail polishes is a great way to save money. The bottles might be little, but honestly, who has ever used up an entire full size bottle of nail polish?
I also found a Zoya polish with my name as the color. Well, almost. It was spelled wrong. Caitlin. So I decided not to get it.
Drugstore Hall of Famers: Face
Here are my favorite drugstore face products!!
-Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream in Light/Medium. I’ve been wearing this as my foundation/tinted moisturizer for a while now, and I love it! One tube lasts a long time, because it has a lot of product. It has 2.5 fluid ounces, as opposed to most foundations, with only 1 fluid ounce. It doesn’t eliminate the need for a concealer, but it has really nice coverage.
-Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer/Highlighter. This is great for under the eyes! I wouldn’t use it on breakouts, as it does highlight a bit.
-Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This powder is great! It keeps your face from looking oily, and it doesn’t looks cakey.
-Elf Blush in Tickled Pink. This is a light pink blush with a subtle bit of microshimmer. Elf blushes are really good. The packaging is so similar to NARS blushes, that I grabbed a NARS blush when I meant to grab this at first!
Drugstore Hall of Famers: Eyes
Here are my all time favorite drugstore eye products!!!
-CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara! Every mascara is going to look different on everyone, but this one works wonders for me! My lashes are naturally pretty long, and this mascara makes it looks like I’m wearing false lashes. I would suggest purchasing this at Target, since I see it there for only $6.94. I’ve seen it for $9 at Ulta!
-Avon Ultra Luxury Eyeliner Pencils. These are currently on sale at avon.com for $1.89!! They’re normally $6. They are really creamy and pigmented, and they last all day.
-Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in Black. This is the best black pencil liner I’ve ever tried! I like it better than Urban Decay Zero Eyeliner. I think it lasts longer! The formula is nice and creamy. That swatch on the right? That is one single swipe of the pencil.
-Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow. This is Tough As Taupe, my favorite. These are great. You can use these as an eyeshadow base, or even just wear them as they are! I’m not sure if they really do last 24 hours, but they last a long time! Maybe I’ll test it out when I go to this huge rock festival in a month haha.

Target Haul!
- I got this rubber lavender watch! I think lavender is officially one of my new favorite colors, hahaha. Now I just need to get some gold bracelets to wear with it! I love love LOVE golds and purple tones together. Oh, and this watch wraps around twice!
- Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk. This is my 4th color tattoo. It’s a really pretty deep, purpley red with a touch of gold shimmer. I also have Bold Gold, Tough as Taupe, and Fierce & Tangy. Are there any other colors you’d recommend?
- Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish in Coastal Surf. I’ve been really into creme finish nail colors lately, and I didn’t have a blue one. I had a coupon for this line of Revlon polishes so I chose this one. I hear they’re really really shiny, even without a top coat! We’ll see about that later…
- Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara. Normally, I’m not one to try out new mascaras. Cover Girl Lashblast Volume is perfect for me! But this was only $4.44 so I decided to give it a try. I don’t love it as much as LashBlast Volume, but it still holds a curl pretty well and thickens.
